2. LIONS IMAGE BUILDING
While we are doing great works in the communities, we have not been
able to elevate and spread our brand values in the communities to inspire
more trust in Lions work. Some of the reasons are that, our work is not
visible to the community, different clubs are doing different projects, or
our works are not regular to the communities. Creating Lions image is
very important for us not only to showcase our good works but also for
membership growth. Therefore, the district has decided to work on the
following projects that has long term impact and help in creating lions
images which is not only visible but also makes every lion feel proud and
valued.
2.1 Lions School
This will be a long-term self-sustaining project. This year, we will explore on
establishing a Lion School just like other community schools and develop
a blueprint of the project this year indicating how, when and where the
project gets started. The vision is to set up a main school in Kathmandu
with its branch schools in different locations. The school would provide
quality education and run like other schools with its own sustainable plan.
We may not be able to start the project but will do all the preparation
work and groundwork this year, so the project could be kicked off next
year.
