SANJAY KHETAN
PAST INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
GAT CONSTITUTIONAL AREA LEADER
Sanjay Khetan from Birganj, Nepal, was elected to serve a two-year
term as a director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 98th
International Convention held in Honolulu, Hawaii, June 26 through 30,
2015. He had completed his two years Tenure Succesfully.
GAT Constitutional Area leader Khetan is a civil engineering consultant.
A member of the Birganj Adarshnagar Lions Club since 1993, he has held
many offi ces within the association, including district governor, council
secretary, council chairperson, GLT area leader and multiple district
leadership development chairperson. In recognition of his service to the
association, he has received numerous awards,including the 100% District
Governor Award, Senior Master Key Award, eightExtension Awards,
Contributing Membership Bronze Award, the Helping Hands Award and
nine International President’s Awards. He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Khetan is active in numerous
professional and community organizations, including the Nepal Heart
Foundation, Nepal Red Cross Society, Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, the Janjati
Kalyan Ashram and the Nepal Engineers Association.
GAT Constitutional Area Leader Khetan and his wife, Sangeeta, also a
Lion, have two daughters.
