ABOUT LEOS

          1974 - 2000th club was established
          1984 - 4000th club was established
          1996 - 5000th club was established
          2007 - 50th Anniversary of the Leos club Program
          2009 - Leos clubs organized in 141 countries
          2010- Leos clubs organized in 142 countries
          2011- About 6083 Leos clubs till July in 159 nations
          2015- till date  6844 Leos clubs (3041 Alpha, 3803 Omega Leos clubs) with
          171,150 members in 143 countries.
          179 Leo Districts & 38 Leo Multiple Districts in the world.
          ABOUT LEOS CLUBS IN NEPAL
          •   Biratnagar Lions Club - the first Lions Club in Nepal was started in 1971.
              Charter President Matrika Prasad Koirala.
          •   And the First District Governor - Lion Dr. Anjani Kumar Sharma
          •   The first Leos club in Nepal - Kathmandu Leos club started in 1973
             sponsored by Kathmandu Lions Club.
          •   Kathmandu Leos club (not in existence). Kath Himalayas Patan Leos club is
             the oldest Leos club of Nepal.
          •   At first, Lions/Leos clubs in Nepal were included in district 321, 322 E of
             Bihar, India
          •   Currently there are four districts as 325-A1, A2, B1, B2 & Multiple District
          •   District 325  A1 has 36, 325 A2 has 36, 325 B1 has 48, & 325 B2 has 69
             Leos clubs.
